Cicero Translations is a great place to work: the team is lively and enthusiastic, we are committed to high professional standards while maintaining a friendly atmosphere and we have an open style of management.

We currently have no full or part-time vacancies.

Work experience students

We occasionally have worthwhile projects for work experience students. If you are

• interested in languages and foreign cultures
• a prospective or current university student, or a graduate
• computer-literate
• available for at least 3 weeks
• over 18, or will be when the work experience starts

Freelancers

Qualified freelance translators

Well-qualified translators, especially those with some specialist knowledge, are always welcome to register on Cicero's panel of translators. We would be particularly interested to hear from qualified translators and proofreaders for the following language groups:

• Asian
• Middle Eastern
• Eastern European
• Scandinavian

Please send your CV to freelancers@cicerotranslations.co.uk. Please make sure your language combinations are written in the subject line and your areas of specialisation are clearly written in the body of the email.

Qualified freelance interpreters

We are currently looking to expand our database of freelance interpreters, particularly within the field of community interpreting. This will include interpreters for scenarios such as:

• Medical appointments
• Court hearings
• Social services meetings
• Consultations with law enforcement agencies

We are looking for interpreters for all languages, so please send your CV stating your language combinations, experience, interpreting qualifications, areas of specialist knowledge and rates (including hourly interpreting rate, half day rate and day rate where applicable, as well as travel rates) in your covering e-mail to freelancers@cicerotranslations.co.uk.

Freelance linguists for proofreading

We would like to hear from qualified linguists who are willing to proofread text which has been translated by a professional translator.
